On March 6, I participated in a debate at The Cambridge Union along with Jeff McMahon and a student debater to defend the motion, “This House Believes that Meat is Murder.” And while many of the attendees disagreed with the way the motion was couched, our side prevailed in the debate. You can watch my presentation here.
March 8, Corey Wrenn, feminist-vegan sociologist, interviewed me at Housman’s Bookstore in London. During the event artist Kale Louise Powell shared the sticker sheet and prints she created to celebrate the publication of the 35th anniversary of “The Sexual Politics of Meat.”

On March 12, at Paris’s Les mots à la bouche, we celebrated the publication of a new French edition of “La politique sexuelle de la viande,” with one of the editors of the press, Lucie Berson, Nora Bouazzouni, who wrote a new French preface, and the translator Maude Morrison. The room was packed and the discussion was fascinating.
